 Underwater Photography Award Winners

Friends,
Enjoy a gallery of images that have won national and international awards over the years!  My earliest photos were taken on Kodak Ektachrome film with a Nikonos amphibious underwater camera.  I later made the transition to digital photography with Nikon DSLR's in Aquatica housings.

 Truk Lagoon 

My photo of Ursula Pemrose peering through the bridge window of the Shinkoku Maru was featured on the cover of the Alert Diver magazine in March 2001.

Alert Diver is the magazine of the Divers Alert Network, the industry's premier dive safety organization, headquartered in Durham, NC.

Alert Diver magazine published two of my images in the November/December 2000 issue.

Fujikawa Splendor
A diver poses by a lifeboat davit adorned with colorful soft corals on the Fujikawa Maru.
This image was recognized as honorable mention in the 1996 Beneath the Sea International Imaging competition.
